Employment Litigation Settlement Awarded to Wronged University President

In a compelling L.A. employment litigation case, Ball & Roberts have announced a victory for their client, the president of an American overseas university. In 2007 the university president asked Ball & Roberts to travel overseas to help him with civil and criminal proceedings that followed the abrupt closure of his campus.

Despite these complexities, in 2009 Ball and Roberts were able in a case with many novel legal issues to successfully appeal adverse lower court rulings and negotiate a settlement with the parent campus which allowed for the funding of the financial obligations of the president and his staff.
