Mr. Hulbert brings to his practice his extensive jury trial experience specializing in the insurance industry and its insureds. He was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers (2003); served as the Chairman, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel's Amicus Committee (1995); and on the Professional Liability Committee (2002); and Court Liaison Committee. He has been a Court-Appointed Arbitrator and Settlement Officer (1990-present); has been twice featured in Verdict magazine's "Name of the Game" (spring 1993; winter 1998); received the Verdictum Juris' 1998 "Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year"; and was featured in the Los Angeles Dail'l Journal "Litigator Profile" (July 1999). He has been an invited speaker at various professional institutions and organizations, including the Judicial College; various insurance industry, hospital and healthcare organization seminars; and is on the Clinical Faculty for the L.A. chapter of ABOTA's trial school.
